
Some Web agencies and customers alike confuse free software with having a low total cost of ownership (TCO). For instance, a content management system might be free to download and install, and perhaps even cheap to host, but if it is running a business critical application, and fails to run six months after deployment, its total cost of ownership clearly is not low.
We deploy a combination of open source (by and enlarge free) software in combination with commercial extensions with an emphasis on software stability. In other words, it won't suddenly fail once you're dependent upon it. We b elieve this is the best way of achieving the lowest total cost of ownership.
